Reports shows that 44% of Oxfordshire’s non-profits have done development work with OCVA
A recent internal report seen by staff shows that 1,994 non-profit groups in Oxfordshire have worked with OCVA on developing their structure or services since records began in 2006.
An estimated 4,500 non-profits are thought to exist in the county, meaning that OCVA has worked with 44% of the local sector. A bulk of this work will have been carried out as part of a Big Lottery funded development project (now finished). Following this project, OCVA’s group development arm continues providing a central point of contact for a wide range of advice.
Groups interested in development of their services or structure can benefit from OCVA advice on:
- Funding
- Training
- Evidencing need for bidding
- Volunteer recruitment
- Trustees
- Setup advice
