Oxford Central Library will be closed to the public from February 27th for a period of up to 18 months

As you may have seen in the press and on the County Council website https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/cms/node/221273  Oxford Central Library will be closed to the public from February 27th for a period of up to 18 months to accommodate the Westgate Centre redevelopment work taking place.

The temporary replacement Central Library site at Oxford Castle will unfortunately have no room for document display or retention, therefore please could you cancel supply of official documents direct to Oxford Central Library with immediate effect.  If you supply documents to other Oxfordshire Libraries please continue to do so via your normal channels. An alternative city centre display point may be the reception area at County Hall for a limited amount of material if generated by Oxfordshire County Council. To discuss this, please contact Tim Stimpson, Facilities Manager, County Hall Tim.Stimpson@oxfordshire.gov.uk .

We look forward to contacting you again when a definite date for the reopening of the Central Library is confirmed.
