Needs of Older People: study published

March 30, 2016

We have today published an in-depth analysis of the needs of older people in Oxfordshire.

The full report and an executive summary are available to download from the following link: http://insight.oxfordshire.gov.uk/cms/jsna-older-people

The analysis describes Oxfordshire’s older population (aged 65 and over) and explores many of the factors affecting health, wellbeing, and social care needs. It sits alongside Oxfordshire’s Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and follows previous analyses focusing on children and young people (in 2014) and working age adults (in 2015).

Thank you very much to those of you who were involved in putting together the report. I hope you find it useful and encourage you to share it with your colleagues. Please send any feedback directly to me, or to our Joint Strategic Needs Assessment mailbox: JSNA@oxfordshire.gov.uk.

Best wishes,

Sarah Fisher
