Databasix: Workshop – ‘Building Trust and Reputation Through Data Protection’ workshop.

Whether you are a virtual assistant, business coach, accountant, lawyer, head up a SME with employees or work for a charity, and you collect personal data on a living individual, the Data Protection Act applies to you.  Many folk believe that by registering with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and paying the £35 fee that their responsibility under the DPA is complete.  I am sorry to say that this simply is not true.  Only this week, both the Red Cross and Sage have both come under scrutiny by the ICO due to breaches in the Data Protection Act.  Both organisations reputation will have been damaged, but at what cost?

Do you know your roles and responsibilities under the Act?  Is the Data Protection Act on your ‘to do’ list?  Could you, or a client benefit from learning some practical tips that you can immediately apply to your business?

We have spaces available at our half day Building Trust and Reputation Through Data Protection workshop on Thursday 29th September.  You can secure your place by clicking on this link https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/building-trust-and-reputation-through-data-protection-tickets-27089719079
