Healthwatch Oxfordshire is pleased to announce that Rosalind Pearce has been appointed its new Executive Director.
Rosalind joins with a wealth of experience in the health, care and not-for-profit sectors, having previously worked for other Healthwatch organisations, including Oxfordshire, in a number of senior and consultative roles.
Rosalind said: “I am really excited to be joining such a successful Healthwatch. I am looking forward to helping the organisation continue its work, influencing the providers of health and social care in Oxfordshire, as well as informing the public and hearing their experiences.”
Healthwatch Oxfordshire’s outgoing Executive Director, Carol Moore, is returning to her native Canada, where she will take up a role with Health Quality Ontario.
Eddie Duller OBE, Chairman of Healthwatch Oxfordshire, said: “We are delighted that Rosalind is joining the team. She is highly qualified to take the organisation forward as we deal with the challenges posed by our reduced funding and move to charitable status.
“We are very sorry to say goodbye to Carol Moore, who has made an enormous contribution to Healthwatch Oxfordshire during her tenure, and we wish her all the best in new role in Canada.”
