Bicester Green has been fortunate enough to secure funding from the European Social Fund to deliver totally free 15 hour courses in both practical skills and back to work skills to anyone who is not currently in employment, for whatever reason. Learn to fix bikes, upholster, fix electrical items, do basic DIY or how to up-cycle in easy three hour bite sized chunks.
Lessons will all be held on Tuesdays, however participants will also be welcome to come and engage in their chosen activity whenever the workshop is open, so they can get as much exposure to the new skill as possible. For each course there will be three practical sessions delivered by Bicester Green and two skills sharing sessions that will be supported by Cherwell District Job Club to help facilitate progression into the workplace.
Courses run from 25th October till the end of the year, with another round happening in January and February.
Bicester Green is based next to the Bicester Village train station; only 5 minutes walk from the town center. Drop in, email or call us to book onto your course.
