The trustees of Eye & Dunsden Village Hall are trying to improve their Victorian building and have had plans drawn up to change the layout and update its facilities in 2017, including a new accessible kitchen. The hall has a resident kindergarten and is popular for family events because of its outside space however the kitchen is too small for the children to use or for more than basic catering so we would be very grateful if you could help us fund a new kitchen.
The overall scheme has been awarded match funding from SODC but there is still a shortfall of £50,000 however it could win £25,000 from the One Family Foundation to cover the cost of the kitchen but is up against strong competition in the Sports & Social Groups category – there are 9 groups going for the £25k award so every vote counts!
