As Community Fundraising Manager, you will have ownership over our community fundraising income stream – the face in the community for our supporters, encouraging and motivating them to raise money for our hospital charity. A skilled communicator, you will demonstrate warmth and empathy in working closely with the Fundraising & Communications Team to engage, inspire and motivate supporters throughout Oxfordshire and beyond to grow net income to benefit patients, staff and families across our Hospital network.
Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Charitable Funds is the charity for the Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust, covering four hospitals, the John Radcliffe, the Churchill and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury. With over 12,000 caring staff looking after 1 million patient contacts each year, you can help us make the biggest impact for our patients and their families, and our fantastic staff.
Adept at delivering long term, sustainable income through a diverse range of supporters, including individuals, corporates, schools and groups, you will be a confident fundraiser who will hit the ground running as soon as you start across the county of Oxfordshire and beyond. Building and maintain excellent long-term relationships will be central to your role and, as a proactive member of the wider fundraising team, you will be working to promote all fundraising activity, including the OX5 Run and the Abseil. You will be happy to work flexibly to maximise all fundraising opportunities.
