Nicola Blackwood, MP, will chair an Oxfordshire Loneliness Summit on Friday May 12th. The aim of the summit is to focus attention on the evidence around loneliness and the avenues out of loneliness, spotlighting good practice locally, generating ideas about what more can be done and pledging to make a difference.
Speakers include Paul Cann, Campaign to End Loneliness (and formerly CEO of Age UK Oxfordshire) and Hannah Pearce, Head of External Affairs, Age UK and local partners.
Age UK is proud to be one of the partners working with the Jo Cox Commission on Loneliness and the summit is being organised by Age UK Oxfordshire, one of four national events to mark the Commission’s spotlight on older people work.
