Join us for an enchanting evening of classical music with the Radcliffe Orchestra in aid of Oxfordshire-based charity SpecialEffect, which uses video games and technology to enhance the quality of life of people with disabilities.
The orchestra consists mainly of members of the healthcare profession, including many from the John Radcliffe Hospital and other Oxford hospitals, who have been rehearsing and performing together for over 26 years. Andrew Gray will be leading the orchestra with pieces from Rossini’s The Barber of Seville as well as Reinecke’s Flute Concerto (soloist: Chris Britton) and Mendelssohn’s Scottish Symphony. The concert will be followed by an informal reception, with wine and light refreshments. For more info and to purchase tickets: http://www.specialeffect.org.uk/events/radcliffe-
