Female participants required for study investigating the effects of a drink on appetite and food intake

The Oxford Brookes Centre for Nutrition and Health (formerly known as the Functional Food Centre) is seeking female participants to take part in a study investigating the effects of a drink on appetite and food intake.

This study will involve a screening session and three test sessions spread out over 4 weeks.

During these 4 weeks, participants will consume a 200 ml test drink or placebo three times per day (i.e. before each main meal). All test sessions will take place first thing in the morning and breakfast will be provided. Participants will receive a £50 Amazon voucher on completion of the study.

Participants need to be female, aged 18-65 years, without any significant health problems and have a BMI of 25-35 kg/m2 (this will be measured during the screening).

If you would like further information, or you would like to get involved, please contact Ify or Hannah on Ext 3283 or email iachebe@brookes.ac.uk or hbrennan@brookes.ac.uk
