Healthy Abingdon event: can community groups and the NHS work better together?

There are, of course, many examples of the NHS and charities or community groups working well together. But can we do better? This is the question we are posing at the second Healthy Abingdon meeting on Thursday, 14 December.

The event is open to NHS representatives, community groups and members of the public and will be held at the North Abingdon Community Centre at Peachcroft (best approached from the Peachcroft Shopping centre car park, OX14 2QA).

Join us at 4:30 pm for refreshments and networking and the meeting itself will start at 5pm with a 7pm finish.

Let Dave Butterworth know on healthyabingdon@aol.com if you wish to attend. We will be setting up discussion tables where NHS staff and the community can discuss ideas for co-operation. So please let Dave know what interests you in particular and therefore what you want to discuss. We can then set up tables according to your interests and concerns.

So please come along if you are a member of the public, are involved with the NHS or are involved with a community groups.
