OSCB Learning Event: ‘Working with Dads and Male Carers’

A free half day learning event at Unipart House, Garsington Road, Cowley, Oxford, OX4 2PG for Oxfordshire’s children’s workforce, including Schools and Education Settings, Early Years Settings, Housing, Criminal Justice Services, Health Services, Children’s Social Care and Charities/ Voluntary Sectors.

The event will focus on the role of the fathers in the family system, together with communication with and involvement of fathers and male carers.

Delegates will hear from local and national speakers, including a panel of young dads on their experiences of working with practitioners.

After attending this event delegates should have an understanding of:
• key factors to consider when working with fathers and male carers
• resources and tools that are useful when working with fathers and male carers
• positive approaches to working with fathers and male carers to improve engagement

Tea and coffee will be provided. (Lunch will not be provided at this event) Attendees who have not booked a place in advance will not be admitted to the event.
