Raise funds for your good cause
South Oxfordshire District Council is giving local voluntary and community groups and projects the exciting opportunity to join our new community lottery to access additional funding directly, without the need for lots of form-filling.
Good Causes Launch – 28 February
Join us at our Good Causes Launch event to hear about how the lottery will work and how to sign your group up to start receiving additional income. This will take place:
Wednesday 28 February
Cornerstone Arts Centre, Station Road, Didcot, OX11 7NE
Our partner Gatherwell Ltd, which will be running the lottery on behalf of our Council, will be on-hand to talk you through the entire process and answer all your questions and queries. Places are limited; you are able to register up to two people from your organisation to attend the event.

About SO Charitable Lottery
The lottery will be a monthly online draw and we are working to launch it to the public at the end of March. Tickets cost £1 each and proceeds will be split between a prize fund (with a jackpot fund of £25,000), local good causes and running costs.
Benefits for your cause
Good causes will be showcased on the lottery’s website and players will be able to choose which local group they want to support with a share of their ticket money – so the more a group is able to market the scheme to supporters, the more income it can get.
Your voluntary or community group may be able to join the lottery if it:
provides community activities or services within South Oxfordshire
has a formal constitution or set of rules and a bank account requiring at least two unrelated signatories
operates with no undue restrictions on membership
is able to tell us how you will promote the lottery to your supporters.
