Role summary: My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award winning self-advocacy charity run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998. The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhances and empowers the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.
We are now looking for a Campaigns and Communications Worker who will maintain and develop the charity’s traditional, social and digital media presence in order to support charity campaigns and profile. This role will be crucial in helping the charity to increase its membership base, grow involvement in projects, deliver campaign messages, promote events, attract funding, and informing members and supporters of charity activities, news, and successes.
The post calls for a talented writer with the ability to write succinct, intelligent, creative copy. Experience of filming, recording, photography and editing content for website, social media and publicity purposes is essential.
The successful candidate will need to show a passion for empowering and raising the voices of people with learning disabilities.
The successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check.

Pay rate: £23,398 – £24,964 per annum pro rata
