Do you want to cut down your smoking, but are not ready to quit?

TRIAL OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY ASSISTED REDUCTION OF SMOKING (TARS)

The University of Oxford are looking for volunteers to take part in a study investigating whether simple support from a health trainer can help people reduce how much they smoke. The support includes exploring ways to help you increase your physical activity, at a pace that is comfortable for you. We will compare if receiving this support reduces smoking, compared to not receiving it.

You are suitable to take part if you are over 18, smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day, and want to cut down, but not quit in the next four weeks.
