As you may know, Oxfordshire County Council has made changes to daytime support for people aged 18 and over in Oxfordshire. One of these changes is the introduction of a new grant fund, starting in 2018:
The Innovation Fund, £100,000 per year, will provide one-off grant funding to support the establishment of self-sustaining projects, delivering new opportunities for people in Oxfordshire.
What new opportunities would you like to be available to you?
What do the grant fund criteria and process need to be, to support you to develop new, self-sustaining opportunities?
We need your help, to make sure that this new fund:
- supports the development of new opportunities people want to be part of
- supports groups/organisations to develop these and apply for this funding
We are holding a workshop to hear your ideas. We would like to invite people who have something in mind that isn’t available now that they want to be part of, people who support them, and individuals, groups and organisations willing to work together to develop new, self-sustaining opportunities.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday 27th March 10am – 12 noon. We will let you know the venue as soon as possible, it will likely be in Oxford and it will be accessible. Please do get in touch via telephone or email if you would like to attend.
Venue Wesley Memorial Church, New Inn Hall Street, OXFORD
