.- Award in Understanding Community Interpreting (level 1 accredited course),

This qualification offers the opportunity for students who are speakers of other languages to learn about the role of the community interpreter. You will learn about the language skills required when working in the community – giving an awareness of how language changes depending on the situation. There is also an opportunity to look at how public and voluntary service sectors work in the community.

Course dates 11/05/2018 – 13/07/2018. 9 sessions for 5 hrs. per session. Friday 9:30-14:30. (Assessment session on 01/05/2018, Tuesday 10:00-13:00)

Fee £180.00 (free if you are in receipt of an income related benefit).
