To maintain The Sunshine Centre financial systems, currently operating on TAS
To produce monthly financial reports
To maintain sales ledger and credit control
To maintain purchase ledger and ensure timely payments to suppliers
To identify, devise and develop effective finance procedures and to identify weaknesses and implement improvements
To prioritise own workload in order to ensure smooth running of the accounts

Job description: 12 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible to include occasional evenings/weekends.
Budget monitoring, allocation, analysis and reporting to The Sunshine Centre management and Directors
Attend meetings with The Sunshine Centre management and Directors for planning and reconciling budgets
Be the point of contact for other agencies with regard to applications, gifts and donations
To attend relevant meetings and contribute to such meetings eg, staff meetings, staff training
Advise staff on requisitioning procedures
Reconcile banking and cross-checking payments
Produce accounts for petty cash records and bank payments received
Order, receive and maintain stock control via procurement and process payments of goods required
To support the writing of fund bids
Prepare the accounts for Audit and liaise with the auditors.
To attend conferences, review meetings, supervision, training and other opportunities relevant to the post as agreed with Senior Management. To attend regular staff meetings and contribute to such meetings.
To work flexibly as will be required by The Sunshine Centre and carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
To ensure you have an understanding (appropriate to your role) of, and comply with The Sunshine Centres’ procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
