JOB VACANCY: The Sunshine Centre, Banbury – Bursar (part-time)

Job Description
To maintain The Sunshine Centre financial systems, currently operating on TAS
To produce monthly financial reports
To maintain sales ledger and credit control
To maintain purchase ledger and ensure timely payments to suppliers
To identify, devise and develop effective finance procedures and to identify weaknesses and implement improvements
To prioritise own workload in order to ensure smooth running of the accounts

Essential Requirements:
Qualified AAT or relevant Finance /Accounting experience.
Experience of supporting the senior management team
Experience of leading budgetary management and control within an organisation
Knowledge and experience of financial management systems
Good ICT skills with knowledge of word-processing, spread-sheets and database
Business acumen
Desirable:
Experience of working in a similar role
Experience of Audit
Experience at management level in an administrative environment
Experience of working with a wide range of internal and external partners

The role is for 12 hours a week.
