We are a charity supporting families with young children through home-visiting. We train volunteers to work with families who are experiencing stressful or demanding situations, are ‘hard to reach’ or isolated.
National Lottery Reaching Communities funding is now enabling us to extend our reach to West Oxfordshire.
This is an opportunity to work as part of a growing, friendly team, taking responsibility for assessing families’ needs and matching them with volunteers, training and supervising volunteers, and liaising with referrers and local partners. You will manage your own caseload of families, with a variety of needs and be involved in the running of family group sessions.
We want to hear from you, if you have:
• an understanding of vulnerable families’ needs
• experience of working with volunteers
• experience of supporting families
• knowledge of safeguarding procedures
• good communication, networking and IT skills
• experience of running groups
