Introduction to Trusteeship
Trustees work together as part of a board to govern a charity. They ensure the charity fulfils its aims and make decisions as to where it goes next.
Anyone over the age of 18 can be chosen as a trustee of any charity with few exceptions. You don’t need to be a charity expert — just interested in providing a new perspective.
As part of Trustees Week (12th- 16th November), we’re running an Introduction to Trusteeship – a half-hour session where you can find out more about what it’s like to volunteer as a trustee, and explore lots of options to become a trustee in Oxfordshire.
The session takes place from 10.30-11.00 on Wednesday 14th November. It will take place at OCVA, Floyds Row, St Aldates, Oxford OX1 1SS.
