JOB VACANCY: Against Breast Cancer – Fundraising Coordinator

Role summary: Against Breast Cancer are a small charity based in Abingdon who raise vital funds for research into secondary spread breast cancer.
Our Fundraising team are seeking a Full time Fundraising Coordinator to join our expanding team. We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic candidate with great administrative skills (which include being a competent user of Microsoft Office Applications and experience of databases), good organisational skills, with a very high level of attention to detail. You will be a team player and have an excellent telephone manner.

Job location (usual place of work): Abingdon

Pay rate: Circa; £20,000.00 dependant on experience

Job description: As Fundraising Coordinator you will be responsible for:-

General administration for the Corporate Partnerships Manager & Corporate & Community Fundraising Officer

Maintain computerised records on current, former and potential corporate partners, individuals, & Community areas using our database and Microsoft Office software in accordance with the fundraising team guidelines

Confident in acquiring raffle and auction prizes from local businesses

Maintain collecting tin spreadsheet

Provide support as required to fundraisers by phone, letter and email, sending out materials and information and similar duties

Maintain our current database for local organisations to include, Rotaries, WI, Inner Wheel etc

Organisation of raffle tickets/prizes, tombola etc for all Community & Corporate Events

Complete all administrative duties for Corporate & Community Events

Confident with face to face street PR & talking to local businesses to promote our Corporate & Community events

Attendance at two key Community events, one in May and one in July

Provide administrative cover for Recycling Officer on a Friday

This is a new and exciting role for the right candidate.

Full Clean driving licence, own transport and permission to work in the UK is essential.
