Oxford Wood Recycling (OWR) is hosting a really engaging and interactive event on Tuesday 19th February. The 2030 Sustainable Development Game (SDG) should be of interest to you and your colleagues. After attending one of these events recently himself, Richard Snow of OWR was inspired to bring it to OWR’s Abingdon works so he could provide the opportunity to like-minded friends, customers and connections within his network to share the experience he enjoyed and benefitted from.
The 2030 SDG’s Game was designed in Japan in 2016 and provides the opportunity for us all to better understand the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and significantly, how they affect us and our businesses, as well as the opportunities they open up for us locally.
The experience has become a powerful and impactful social phenomenon in Japan, earning extensive media coverage and reaching over 30,000 participants last year including Hitachi, Fuji and Unilever in Japan.
Attendance is by ticket only with the cost ranging from £15 – £60, available on Eventbrite: http://bit.ly/OWR_SDG
In case you don’t know, OWR is a popular and award winning social enterprise, helping to protect our natural environment and relieving unemployment among people facing barriers to working.
