Online bookings are now being taken for the forthcoming South and Vale Voluntary & Community Sector Forum on Wednesday 13 March 2019 at Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot. This year the theme is ‘looking beyond the obvious…volunteers, funding, working together…’
This free annual event is an opportunity for people from local community groups and voluntary organisations across South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse to meet, discuss ideas and share advice in a relaxed setting. Last year over 100 delegates attended the day.
Information on funding and other sector resources will be available at the lunchtime networking fair, and during the day you are invited to attend two training sessions and will be led through a facilitated networking session to get to know and learn from others in the voluntary sector. Speakers include the senior policy and performance manager from the county council, the joint chief executive of one of county’s leading community support organisations, and the manager of a group supporting young people who were winners of OCVA’s best group award.
To register for the event and to book your two training sessions (see attached document for training session summaries) and for the afternoon facilitation session please click on this link to our event.
