Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing Board – workshop on 28/02/19 to consider the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy

On behalf of Oxfordshire Health and Wellbeing Board, we invite you to a workshop on 28 February 2019 to help us consider the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy that has been recently updated. If you are unable to attend, please do nominate others from your organisation and let us know who will be attending.

Details of the workshop are:

Date:               Thursday 28 February 2019

Time:              9.00am – 12.30pm

Venue:           Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road, Oxford OX4 4XP

The revised strategy was discussed at the Health and Wellbeing Board on 15th November 2018 and members of the Board would now like to hear the views and ideas of a range of stakeholders. The document is available here to read http://mycouncil.oxfordshire.gov.uk/documents/s43896/HWB_NOV1518R20%20-%20Draft%20Joint%20Health%20Wellbeing%20Strategy.pdf

We have launched a survey to gather views from the public about the strategy that can be found here https://consult.oxfordshireccg.nhs.uk/consult.ti/HealthWellbeing/consultationHome.

This is in addition to the wide engagement undertaken in 2018 on the Good Start in Life (Children’s section) and the Ageing Well (Older People’s section). These sections of the strategy have already incorporated feedback from that engagement.

We will share the results of the survey at the workshop and will want to discuss how the strategy will make a difference, what it means for you and how we can all play a part in making sure the ambitions outlined in the strategy are achieved.

We hope that you will join us to help finalise the strategy and would ask you to RSVP by email to hello@healthwatchoxfordshire.co.uk.
