The Team Manager is responsible for the development and management of the SVPRS team, and for ensuring that its activities are committed to meeting the needs of the client group. This team comprises staff based in the Banbury office to support families placed in Cherwell district under the scheme, and staff based in Oxford similarly supporting Oxford-placed families. The number of families is expected to decrease over the year as agreed support comes to an end and the families achieve a level of English that means they can support themselves. The aim is for them to leave the service when ready to live independently without the need for regular support. This service is part of a national scheme to resettle vulnerable refugee families from Syria. There are currently 25 families in Oxford and 6 families in Cherwell, with another six due to arrive in Cherwell during 2019.

The post holder may be required to cover other work on other contracts.
