JOB VACANCY: Dementia Oxfordshire/Age UK – Dementia Administrator (p/t)

Role summary:

Dementia Oxfordshire provides support for people living with dementia from the point of diagnosis until either end of life or a move away from independent living to residential care.

The Service Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service.

About you:

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative skills. You must be able to work well as part of a team, and use your own initiative. The role involves dealing with sensitive and confidential information, so you must know how to deal with this type of information appropriately.

You would be working with our Dementia Advisors, and may sometimes take calls from clients or their family members. Therefore knowledge of Dementia would be preferred, however, this is not essential. Excellent communication skills both face to face and written is essential.

Job location (usual place of work): Abingdon

Pay rate: £8.70 – £9.23 per hour
