From Oxford Bus Company:
I hope you might consider entering this year’s ‘Brand the Bus!’ competition? We’ll hope to see your charity/good cause on the winning bus this time – but even if that unfortunately doesn’t happen, by entering the competition and appearing in the online gallery, charities such as yours are given a great opportunity to raise brand awareness and boost engagement. Last year our competition web pages attracted almost 31k visits (21k unique page views) and entries attracted almost 6000 unique votes.
To enter, you need to create a short (3 min max) video or (max. 10 page) PDF presentation to tell us why your charity/good cause deserves to brand the bus. The 10 entries that receive the highest number of votes from the public will be shortlisted. The judging panel will select a final winner from the shortlist. The competition closes on Friday 22nd November – so you have plenty of time to work on your entry.
– It’s best to enter as soon as you can, because then your entry is displayed in the gallery for longer and more people will see it.
– As soon as your entry is live in the online gallery, its a great idea to promote voting for your entry as much as you can. The charities and other good causes who got the most public votes last year told us that they encouraged their supporters to vote for them at every opportunity – via their social media, email, f2f and any other opportunities, and sent regular reminders. Every vote counts!
– Below is the web address with full details of the competition and the entry form. There’s also a link to last year’s winners’ page showing their bus design, and also their winning entry. Girlguiding Oxfordshire were very popular in the general public voting, and they also made a great job of showing how their vision and values closely matched with those of the Oxford Bus Company, and our judging panel felt that their entry stood out for this reason.
