Brilliant news –  over 130 volunteers have been able to donate more time to local charities thanks to South Oxfordshire District Council’s volunteering grant. An extra 5000 hours of volunteering time. Fantastic!

To date, more than £14,000 has been distributed to local sports and community groups by the council as part of its pilot volunteering grant project but they don’t have to be the only ones – there is still time for other local groups to apply.

This scheme is open to small voluntary, community and social enterprise groups operating in South Oxfordshire. Eligible organisations can apply for a grant from £250 to a maximum of £750.
