ODAS will be marking once again the day of memory for the victims of honour killings. As last year, this year we also aim to direct the event to the communities and we are holding a workshop with the goal of celebrating identity and sharing experiences of migration over tea and cake. The event will be child friendly and activities for the children will be in place.
The event will take place on Saturday, 27th July 2019, from 1pm-4pm. The venue is the Friends house in St Giles, Oxford (the address is in the poster).
We would like to request that you advertise the event throughout your contacts and encourage your service users to participate. Samiya Younis, the artist facilitating the workshop, is requesting that attendees bring a piece of fabric or clothing that has meaning to them.
