Do you know about Oxfordshire Libraries’ Language Cafes?
There are two in Banbury and they are open all summer. They are an informal drop-in for those wishing to practise their English with native speakers and/or share their language skills. They are good for combatting social isolation and promoting community integration. They are also helpful to people who cannot commit to ESOL classes because of work schedules.
They are at Banbury main library on Wednesdays and at Woodgreen library on Thursdays, both 11:00 to 13:00.
There is also one at the County Library in Oxford City https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/events/oxfordshire-county-language-cafe-2
They are supported by a facilitator from Banbury College and are completely free of charge.
