We’re looking for capital projects which support community initiatives and facilities; that improve the health, wellbeing and the quality of life of our residents and contribute towards the council’s Climate Emergency Declaration.
We are inviting applications from constituted not-for-profit organisations, Community Interest Companies and town/parish councils to apply for a minimum of £1,000 and up to 50 per cent of the cost of capital projects (excluding vehicles). Projects may include but not limited to buying, building or replacing long term assets (buildings, play areas and equipment) or making energy saving improvements for the benefit of South Oxfordshire residents. The council’s total budget for this round of funding is £320,000, and the maximum you can apply for is £75,000. For ideas of what previous grants have funded, please click here for a list of grants awarded 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
If your organisation has a project that you would like to be considered for funding, you can apply online. The closing date for applications will be midday on Monday 2 December 2019 and decisions will be made by end of March 2020.
