Overview of the Youth Fund
The Youth Fund supports organisations whose main purpose is to help young people (aged 14-25) who face complex transitions to adulthood. We concentrate our support on those experiencing the most challenging circumstances: young people who are socially excluded or marginalised, whose experiences are often hidden or less well known, and whose voices are often erased or ignored. We fund work with young people that starts by recognising and building on their strengths, and potential – we refer to this as an asset-based approach.
Organisations must meet the following criteria:
- Work in the UK
- Work at either local, regional or national levels, or at more than one level
- Support young people aged 14-25
- Not-for-profit
- Provide direct services or second-tier support
