Voice of Oxfordshire Youth (VOXY) – survey for children and young people on how they feel about the services they use

VOXY (Voice of Oxfordshire’s Youth) and the Children’s Trust Board would like feedback from all children and young people in Oxfordshire, aged 8 – 18 and up to 25 with additional needs, about how supported they feel by the services they use.  We first shared this questionnaire in January 2019, and one year on we would like to see how supported children and young people feel now.

The online questionnaire is available to share with children and young people, until it closes on Sunday 9th February – here:  www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/BeSupported

The Children’s Trust Board would like the questionnaire to be promoted as much as possible, to ensure a good level of feedback, so please cascade widely – to your teams and other contacts.

Please ask workers to encourage children and young people to complete the online questionnaire before the 9th February deadline, but in case the online version cannot be completed, please find attached 2020 Be Supported Questionnaire for C+YP which needs to be returned earlier – by Monday 3rd February.  Workers can print these out, and all instructions for return are on the front page, including a FREEPOST address.  (Workers will need to provide envelopes for posting questionnaires back.)

We are particularly keen to hear from targeted groups, as although the survey is open to all children and young people in Oxfordshire, we need to make sure that we are hearing from children and young people who have experiences relating to any of the three priorities for the Oxfordshire Children and Young People’s Plan 2018 – 2021, which are: missing out on education, social and emotional wellbeing and/or mental health needs, and domestic abuse.

You can read more about the results from the 2019 questionnaire (and download the reports) here:  http://oxme.info/cms/news/feedback-be-supported-questionnaire

Many thanks for your support promoting this questionnaire.
