Beyond Boundaries – art competition for children in years 5-8

March 3, 2020

Beyond Boundaries is an art competition for Oxfordshire state school students in Years 5-8, to create art inspired by research from six Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) scientists and mathematicians. School students are asked to select one researcher to create an artistic response to their research (e.g. painting, drawing, sculpture, digital media, music, dance, any others…) along with a short statement explaining their piece – deadline is 13 March 2020. There is prize money for winners and runners up, and a public exhibit at the Museum of Natural History in Oxford in May 2020.
