The Recovery College, which is a service provided by the award-winning Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership – of which Oxford Health is a member – offers a different approach to mental health support.
Rather than taking a clinical or therapeutic approach it follows an educational approach to recovery – the more we can learn about ourselves, a particular diagnosis, or about tried-and-tested strategies, the more we can look after ourselves and each other.
Courses are designed to help develop knowledge and understanding, and to gain some practical tools for recovery, mental health, living well and education.
