Tell OCVA about your digital needs – read our CEO’s blog and take part in our short survey

January 14, 2021

Are we already too far into 2021 to say Happy New Year? January might not have been the fresh start that we all craved, but as we enter a new year with the ongoing challenge of Covid, it is important that we still make time for fresh thinking and new perspectives.

It’s easy to spend the day hopping between Zoom and Teams in the belief that we’ve all successfully made the digital shift, but at OCVA we know that many groups and organisations are managing with very little resource, so getting online in the first place and working effectively there when you do isn’t a straightforward task.

So that we can have a better idea of the scale and type of need within the community and voluntary sector we have launched a super simple 3 question survey about your digital needs. It will only take a couple of minutes to complete but it will help to ensure that OCVA knows how best to support you and your organisation to make the most of digital resources – whether that be helping to source hardware like laptops and tablets or providing training to unlock your potential.

Oxfordshire Community Foundation’s fantastic Getting Oxfordshire Online initiative has set the vision that ‘Everyone in the County will be able to get online and do the things they want and need to do by the end of 2025’ and we can play our part by ensuring that our community and voluntary groups have the tools they need.

So, please take some time to fill out the survey and share widely. If you’re a group or organisation who think you can help with finding and sharing resources, then we’d like to hear from you too.

Digital Needs Survey

Warm wishes for a better and brighter 2021.
