Purpose of the role
To work as part of a team to provide support for service users experiencing mental health crisis, including monitoring of group activities and conducting 1:1 sessions with service users face to face, on the phone and via online platforms.
Banbury Safe Haven offers same day support for those who struggle with their mental health and feel they are reaching a breaking point. People can self-refer or be referred by a professional to get an appointment for one-to-one support face to face or on the phone, or access activities in a calming and supportive environment with the purpose of grounding or refocusing. The goal is to support people in creating and following safety plans, developing new coping strategies and ability to use support available to them.
|28 hours per week.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 4.00pm – 11.30pm
|Base salary NJC salary scale point 11-18 (£21,166 – £24,313) plus additional unsocial hours allowance for evening after 8pm (+33%) and weekend working (+50%).|
