Predominantly home- based. Some Oxfordshire travel required, expenses covered.

Age UK Oxfordshire’s Creative Team are seeking a freelancer to help with our expanding projects. The role is initially for 5 days per month for 6 months, but this could extend depending on funding. We are committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and we are particularly seeking to work with someone local to Oxfordshire that brings a different perspective, a new set of skills, and life experience that adds value to our team. If you have a positive attitude, a passion for creativity and great people skills online, as well as in person, then we want to hear from you.

This facilitator role has two key functions:
1. Deliver TeaBooks, an existing creative project that involves supporting volunteers, older people and partnerships across the county. http://new.bookfeast.net/projects/teabooks
2. Coordinate Age of Creativity marketing, sharing content, developing audiences and responding to enquiries. @AgeofCreativity
Much of this work requires initiative, strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.

Our Creative Team is tiny, but our impact is huge; we champion creativity for/ with/ by older people both locally and nationally. Farrell Renowden, Head of Cultural Partnerships and Helen Fountain, Age Friendly Creative Coordinator, are the core team, but an infrastructure across Age UK Oxfordshire, as well as the 7 cross-sector networks we manage, gives us a lot of reach and bags of potential to grow. We are a progressive team, and we pride ourselves in being generous partners to work with/ for; we are signed up to Oxfordshire Cultural Anti-Racism Manifesto and we champion the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strand of work for Age England Association. If any aspect of this role or application process can be made more accessible, then please let us know- we are very keen to learn.

The application process for this role is purposely short, to keep the process fair we cannot accept CV’s. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an informal discussion with members of the team.
