FUNDING: M&C Freeman Fund – for groups in Oxford aiming to have a positive social or environmental impact

August 19, 2021

The fund, worth £25,000, has grants of up to £5,000 available. It is open to any community groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations in Oxford aiming to have a positive social or environmental impact. Organisations can apply for funding until 25th August, after which time the M&C Freeman Charitable Trust will select winners.

The themes are:

  • Education and employment
  • Neighbourhood
  • Physical health and sport

How? You can upload a project that needs funding to our platform ActionFunder here: https://www.actionfunder.org/fund/20?utm_source=fund_promo&utm_medium=direct_outreach&utm_campaign=freeman_fund

If your project and the fund criteria align (on £ required, location, organisation type and focus area), by signing up to the platform and uploading a project that needs funding, you should be automatically matched to the Strong Foundations Grant or to any other fund that is live on the platform.
After being matched, you may be shortlisted and selected to receive funding. Easy as that! Our team can support with applications if needed and you can find further information here: https://semble.org/actionfunder-guides/
And if your pitch is unsuccessful this time around, don’t worry! Your efforts won’t be wasted as your project will stay live and we’ll inform you if other funds that you’re eligible for launch.
