FUNDING: Asda Foundation – Bringing Communities Back Together Grants

September 2, 2021

The Asda Foundation has launched phase 2 of its Bringing Communities Back Together grant scheme. Grants of up to £1,000 are available to grassroots community group towards a celebration event (such as a welcome back party), getting activities and services back on track, essential support (e.g. food banks/mental health groups) or a combination of the three. The deadline for applications is Monday 1 November 2021, however the scheme could close earlier if all of the funds are allocated. Applications must be submitted through an ASDA Community Champion. For more information, visit the website.

In addition, there is new element ‘Essential Support’ which is aimed at helping groups who are supporting the immediate needs of people in their local area from October to December, including Christmas. With this new element included, this is one of our broadest grants, empowering communities to apply for what is important to their community, enabling us to help and support more groups in the most relevant way possible.
