Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £35,837 to £40,600 per annum

Locations: Based at Connection Support Office, Cowley, Oxford with frequent remote working and travel

There has never been a more exciting time to work on homelessness in Oxfordshire. The county is embarking on a ground-breaking programme of work that seeks to put an end to homelessness across the county.

This post is funded to work on behalf of, and in partnership with, the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance. The Alliance members consist of A2Dominion, Aspire, Connection Support, Elmore Community Services, Homeless Oxfordshire and St Mungo’s. Members have come together through the amalgamation of commissioned homelessness services across the county with the overall aim of improving service delivery and client outcomes for homeless adults and adults at risk of homelessness in Oxfordshire. Our draft alliance values are: Listening, Choice, Collaboration, Inclusive.

You will play a pivotal role in making the alliance and the services it delivers a success. You will provide strategic and operational oversight and day to day leadership and management. To succeed in this role, you will have excellent planning, organisation, coordination and communication skills. You will strive to improve the services that are delivered by working closely with people who experience services, alliance members and commissioners. Fostering and enabling a culture of continuous improvement will be at the heart of your work. You will play a critical role within the Alliance Leadership Team and will be responsible for ensuring that the alliance achieves its goals.

The Alliance Manager will be integral to mobilising and maintaining a common approach to achieve an effective partnership.  The post will be hosted by Connection Support and supported and guided by the Alliance Leadership Team (ALT) consisting of representatives from each Alliance member agency and service commissioners.
