JOB VACANCY: Flexicare – Co-ordinator (p/t)

November 4, 2021

Role summary:
Flexicare is an Oxfordshire based charity providing a sitting service for families with severely disabled children. The role is fully flexible and involves some weekend and evening hours, determined by you, to fit around your life and existing commitments. No two days or weeks are the same.

To our Flexicare children, our sitters are a friend who is not their parent, carer or medic. They set firm, gentle boundaries and are able to think outside the box. You will make a difference, some big, some small.

For siblings, the sitter is a friend providing one on one undistracted attention, play, time, interest; a release from being a carer or an interpreter.

You will be joining an existing friendly and supportive team of Manager, Office Manager, two other Co-ordinators and a cohort of volunteers. Full training is provided. Ongoing support and mentoring is part of the Flexicare ethos.
