JOB VACANCY: Oxfordshire Mind – Deputy Project Manager (Safe Haven)

December 15, 2021

The Deputy Project Manager will support Safe Haven Managers in leading and managing a team of Safe Haven staff working at Oxfordshire Projects (currently Oxford and Banbury). Their role will be split between providing mental health support and supporting staff in delivering a high-quality service. They will liaise closely with partners, professionals, and community groups. Alongside other Safe Haven Project Managers and Deputy, the post holder will support the expansion of the service.

Safe Haven offers same-day support for those who struggle with their mental health and are experiencing particular distress. People can self-refer or be referred by a professional to get an appointment for one-to-one support face to face or on the phone, or access ‘grounding’ or ‘refocusing’ activities in a calming and supportive environment. The goal is to support people in creating and following safety plans, developing new coping strategies and encouraging them to use the support available to them.
