Covid – Information for Oxfordshire Groups and Organisations

December 21, 2021

  1. The latest information and links can be found here: https://ocva.org.uk/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-information-and-support-across-oxfordshire-for-voluntary-community-groups/ There is information from Government as well as local information from District Councils and other organisations.

2. Rising Covid rates combined with winter illness is putting unprecedented pressure on Health and Care services. We are compiling a list of services, support or advice your organisation can currently offer to residents in Oxfordshire who may need help or assistance from now until the end of April 2022 at the earliest. We will then pass on your information to the relevant Health and Social Care agencies and Voluntary organisations who are coordinating support. Additional funding/resourcing is available for organisations able to deliver this support. Please complete the survey here: Covid Support Survey

3. OCVA hosted an urgent session on Monday 20th December at 12.00 pm to bring together partners from our local authorities and the Community and Voluntary sector to look at the urgent needs of communities in response to the worsening situation with Covid, combined with winter pressures. 58 people attended from different groups, organisations and agencies.
