FUNDING: Vale of White Horse District Council – New £50,000 Climate Action Fund open for applications

March 21, 2022

A new Climate Action Fund, offering a total of £50,000 to help local groups tackle the climate emergency, is now open for applications.

The funding is aimed at schemes that help to tackle climate change and increase people’s awareness and knowledge of the climate emergency, with up to £5,000 on offer for individual projects.  Work could focus on areas such as the natural environment, energy, waste and consumption, or transport and travel.

Parish councils and local groups can apply to the fund to help boost action at a grass roots level.  In addition to hearing from established groups, we are particularly keen to support those who are only just beginning to address the climate emergency.

Please note projects must take place within Vale of White Horse district for the benefit of Vale residents.

If you have a project that could help tackle the climate emergency, please apply as soon as possible – submissions close at midday on 25 April 2022.
