FUNDING: Barchester’s Charitable Foundation – grants for loneliness amongst older people and adults with a disability

Barchester CharitySmall community groups, local charities and individuals can apply for grants of between £100 and £5,000 for equipment and to support projects that tackle loneliness amongst older people and adults with a disability.

We help groups with:

  • Activity projects
  • Equipment and materials for use by members
  • Member transport
  • Day trips, outings and group holidays in the UK

Our grants range from £100 up to £5,000, with the average grant in 2021 being approx. £725.

Grants for individuals, must be completed by a third party who knows the individual in a professional or community-based capacity such as healthcare professionals, social workers or charity or support group representatives.
