FUNDING: Paul Hamlyn Foundation – funding to support youth organisations

June 22, 2022

The Youth Fund supports organisations whose main purpose is working with and for young people (aged 14-25) who face complex transitions to adulthood.

We want to support organisations to:

  1. Sustain, grow or prepare to grow the organisation’s impact.
  2. Improve, consolidate and spread practices which empower young people to shape their lives and lead change (sometimes called asset-based approaches).
  3. Support and champion people with lived experience in the leadership and operational delivery of this work, particularly people who are most affected by systemic oppression and or discrimination.

What we will fund

Core operating costs. Organisations can request up to £150,000 spread over three years i.e. up to £50,000 per year. The Youth Fund is designed to be a strategic investment in your organisation, so we prefer to fund for the full three years and at the amount appropriate to your plans for wider impact. We are unlikely to make grants of less than £30,000 per year.
