Oxfordshire Association for the Blind – name change to MyVision Oxfordshire

June 30, 2022

Oxfordshire Association for the Blind logoWe are changing our name from Oxfordshire Association for the Blind (OAB) to MyVision Oxfordshire, with the strapline: Supporting Visually Impaired People.

The name change will officially come into effect on the 1st July 2022. We have been aware for a while that our old name acted as a barrier for many people accessing our services, as they did not see themselves as blind.

We feel like our new name, MyVision Oxfordshire, encapsulates our focus on supporting each individual and their unique situation.

More information about our name change can be found on our website: https://www.oxeyes.org.uk/were-changing-our-name/.

We’re also updating some of our contact information in line with our name change. Our new web address is: www.myvision.org.uk; at present this address redirects back to the OAB website, but we are in the process of launching our new website with our new web address in the coming weeks.

Our new general email address is: info@myvision.org.uk.

Our street address (Bradbury Lodge, Gordon Woodward Way, Oxford, OX1 4XL) and phone number (01865 725595) will remain the same as before.
